Description

Scholar-artist workshop on a Restoration adaptation of Shakespeare's Macbeth with professional actors from the Folger Theatre, professional musicians from the Folger Consort, and academics from the UK, US, and ROI. The workshop enhanced the knowledge of professional performing artists about Shakespeare's afterlife and introduced them to a new theatrical and musical repertoire. It informed the professional production of Davenant's Macbeth at the Folger Theatre in September 2018.
