The University is taking steps to improve its global reputation and its position in league tables. A strong reputation is central to the success of all aspects of the University’s work. The consolidation and improvement of Queen’s reputation, in relation to global rankings but also to wider networks and partnerships, is therefore a vital part of a new Strategic Plan and the delivery of world-class research and education.
Building on the School's recent Top 100 success in the QS subject ranking for Nursing, there is still much we can do to improve our QS and THE standing and it is within this context that the School would seek to appoint a Reputation Champion to lead on School-specific actions. This work would be supported by MRCI who will provide detailed QS and THE datapoints and will involve a thorough review of current academic and employer lists proposed by the School in the prior year. A key objective of the Reputation Champion will be to motivate colleagues to consolidate and strengthen their networks, and to mobilise them appropriately around the relevant voting periods.
