Description

Self-regulated learning (also known as motivational learning) is essential for deep and effective learning. However, not all adult learners are effectively self-regulated. A four-phased study including midwifery students across the UK is proposed, that includes implementation and testing of a self-regulatory workshop for midwifery students, combined with introduction to SimCapture (self-regulatory action control strategy). The evaluation explores the impact of the workshop, and the app in enhancing students' motivation to self-regulate their own learning.
