11th annual conference of the European Association of Archaeologists – NUI Cork

I organised a session entitled ‘Deviant Burial Practice in the Archaeological Record’ in September 2005, the proceedings of which were published as an edited volume by Oxbow in 2008. The session proposal underwent peer-review by members of the conference’s scientific committee. It attracted considerable interest and a one-page summary account was published by Michael Balter in Science (2005, 613).
