I advocated for the inclusion of technical and clerical representatives within the Staff Voice Committee to strengthen representation across all staff groups. I also reported on the activities and action plans of the SWAN Committee to the Staff Voice Committee, supporting the advancement of gender equality across QUB staff.
As a SMDBS Staff Forum Represenative for the wider staff, I am active in:
- Positively support the process of engaging with staff through the Survey and the Forum
- Discuss working policies and practices, collect views and suggestions on their experience and provide an open space so that their feedback can be explored.
- Act as the voice of my fellow colleagues and play a part in influencing decisionS and encouraging good and effective employee relations
- Represent the views of my colleagues at Staff Forum and consult with the management team.
