STEM Innovators. Invited speaker. Talk title: ProAxsis Ltd. The Journey from Proof of Concept to Successful Biotech Spin-OutThis event was hosted by Queen’s Gender Initiative from Queen’s University Belfast and featured female STEM Professors who have bridged academic research and the commercial sector through the founding of spinout companies. The challenges faced by academics, and specifically female academics, in seeking to commercialise their research was discussed.
This event was attended by PhD and Masters students, Researchers, Academics, STEM companies and people with an interest in STEM and entrepreneurship.
