Description
This QUB - profession collaboration was instigated by Alan Jones in 2024 and delivered both 2024 and following positive feedback in 2025 and planned for June 2026. There have been over 70 attendees for each of the 2024 and 2025 events- approximately 35% PGT Students and 65% Architects from Industry.Formatted as one day (5 hour afternoon - evening) seminar is created as a PGT (Professional Practice in Architecture) optional extra (fee to be paid) and as a pay for CPD event for members of the Royal Society of Ulster Architects. Advertised and promoted by the Royal Society of Ulster Architects this event brings revenue to PGT for the School of Natural & Built Environment. The content of the event is delivered by Stephen Best, known to many architects as a recent long standing all Ireland architectural critic for the Sunday Times and the coordinator of one of the leading Part 3 Professional Practice programmes in Southern Ireland.
