This was a seminar facilitated by the Health, Wellbeing and Inclusion Research Group within the School of Social Sciences, Education and Social Work. Dr Jerry Reed, an internationally recognised leader in the field of suicide prevention, came to Queen's to present on his wealth of knowledge in the field of suicide prevention. Through advocacy, authorship and effective programme leadership, Dr Reed has raised awareness about suicide as a leading cause of death and driven public policy change at the state and national level in the U.S.A.
