Description

It is recognised that a few Advanced Nurse Practitioner roles already exist in HSC Trusts in NI, introduced in response to service and/or patient needs. In order to ensure a strategic and consistent approach was used in relation to the commissioning, education and development of nurses in these roles, the Chief Nursing Officer requested NIPEC to take forward a project to develop an Advanced Nursing Practice Framework for NI.
