Description

The SFEG is part of the Green Finance Platform, a global network of organizations and experts that address major knowledge gaps in sustainable finance. The Green Finance Platform is part of the Green Growth Knowledge Platform, which was was established in 2012 and is led by a Steering Committee comprised of senior representatives from the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI), Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), and the World Bank. The GGKP draws together more than 75 partner organisations.

The GGKP Secretariat is hosted by GGGI and UN Environment. The Secretariat manages the initiative’s operational activities. The GGKP benefits from strategic funding from Switzerland, Germany, the Partnership for Action on Green Economy (PAGE) initiative, the Global Environment Facility, the MAVA Foundation, and GGGI as well as programmatic funding from the Netherlands.
