Description

Invited as expert assessor for the Swedish Higher Education Authority's (UKÄ) to evaluate doctoral music programmes in Sweden.
The expert panel membership involved:
1. training in UKÄ’s evaluation and work methods
2. participation in meetings and preparing meeting documents
3. participating in meetings with HEIs
4. reviewing, discussing and evaluating various assessment data
5. judging using UKÄ’s online case management system (UKÄ Bedömarvy)
6. preparing interviews with PhD-students, teachers/supervisors/ HEI’s management
7.conducting interviews
8. summarising assessments in a joint statement including the assessment panel’s proposed overall rating and proposed decision
