    Tania Cañas is an independent arts professional and researcher based in Melbourne, Australia. She is also the arts director of RISE Refugees, the first organisation established in Australia by refugees for refugees.

    In this short free lunchtime event, she will explore what is the role of the cultural sector in generating, supporting multiplicity within the contemporary global context? How do we ensure the cultural sector is representing the diverse social, cultural and political narratives of our time? What might a self-determining model look like in community engaged practice?
