Description

Co-hosted by Trinity College Dublin and Dublin Cemeteries Trust, this two-day conference 'invite[d] scholars to the university and the cemetery to discuss the significance of the dead body in Irish culture and history and consider the ‘work’ that the dead have done and continue to do in Irish society.' I presented as an ECR in 5 minutes on my PhD dissertation, focusing on how religion affected the origins of cillini in the 19th century.
