Description

The Infrastructural Turn symposium invited three renowned, international practitioners to discuss their work in the expanded field of architecture in Europe and North America. Each is at the forefront of a growing movement of deploying design as a synthetic element within the rethinking and planning of larger systems and networks: infrastructure, agriculture, energy, urbanism, landscape, waste. This fully funded (free to attend) event addresses cross disciplinary infrastructural issues with a three speakers and a debate. It was organised by Gary Boyd and supported by the Sustainable Built Environment cluster of the School of Natural and Built Environment.
