The Political Life of Things

Description

Along with colleagues at the Universities of Durham and Newcastle, as well as curators at the Imperial War Museum, I co-organized the 4th 'Art and Politics' workshop exploring war, materialism and world politics. Our keynote speaker was Professor Jane Bennett from Johns Hopkins University, and the workshop engaged with contemporary artists as well as artefacst from the Imperial War Museum's collection. I also spoke at the closing Roundtable session.
