Description
This talk examined how schools can build more effective and equitable partnerships with their local communities by engaging with community development infrastructures. Drawing on research from the Queen’s Communities and Place (QCAP) programme, it highlighted the limitations of current school–community interactions and outlined lessons from place-based approaches to addressing educational inequality in areas of socio-economic disadvantage.
