Shiv Nadar University is organizing a training program on Geospatial Technologies and Applications on 17-18 March 2017. Sponsored by DST – NRDMS, the hands-on training program is meant for academicians and researchers from Schools and State/Central Government Bodies who wish to acquire basic knowledge in geospatial technology. Experts from institutions including Nalanda University; McGill University, Montreal Canada; and GGSIP University will cover topics like geospatial technologies, Geographic Information System (GIS), and hands on experience with open source software such as SAGA GIS and QGIS during the two days program.
