Description

The efficient use of energy resources is a key driver for industry. Wrightbus, a leading bus design and manufacturer, recently acquired a new facility with a combined heat and power plant onsite. As the company has limited demand for heat, analysis was undertaken of potential local heat networks designed to meet the needs of the locality. Spatial analysis of energy resource and demand data was used to develop a geoprocessing tool for localised energy assessment.
