Miss Umme Salma, Visitin Research Student Università degli Studi di Roma "La Sapienza"
Umme is a PhD student with Prof. Ruggero Caminiti at Università degli Studi di Roma "La Sapienza" working on ionic liquids research and wishes to enhance her experience with a 3-month visit to my laboratory. The experience will have a very positive impact on on Umme's research career and also establishes a new European contact for collaborative research. Umme developed a synthetic procedure to produce the multi-functional IL which is both electroactive, protic and electro-chromic which will be the subject of a high-impact publication. Umme also carried out x-ray structural analysis on our energy-string redox active ionic liquids at the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (Grenoble) during 2017 which be the subject of a series of high impact publications during 2018.
