UN Global Compact Country Networks are business-led, multi-stakeholder platforms that work directly with businesses to help them implement the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact and advance the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Thanks to their local and regional expertise, UNGC Country Networks are uniquely positioned to help companies understand what responsible business means within different national, cultural, and language contexts.

November 2024 will see the launch of the UN Global Compact Ireland Country Network - a significant milestone in relation to the advancement of responsible and sustainable business. At this event Nessa Whelan, Country Manager Ireland, outlined the work of the UN Global Compact, including how higher education faculty and students can engage with this important global initiative.
