Activity: Publication peer-review and editorial work types › Editorial activity
Understanding Bach, the web journal of Bach Network UK, was launched in 2006 with the publication of the first volume on 21 March. It is an annual, open access publication consisting of several sections: main articles, reports and a Young Scholars’ Forum. Main articles are peer-reviewed. Contributors are personally invited to submit articles from papers given at J. S. Bach Dialogue Meetings or at the biennial International Conferences on Baroque Music. Anyone who signs up to join Bach Network will receive notification of publication of each new volume. Publication is also announced through musicological news lists. The editorial board is made up of members of the Bach Network council. Yo Tomita and Ruth Tatlow are currently the editors.
