I drafted and finalised the report entitled ‘Geographical indication protection of Mozambique’s Cabrito de Tete (Tete Goat)', Report of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, UNCTAD/ALDC/2023/1 published in June2023.

The purpose of this report is to provide an understanding of the nature, characteristics and identification of Mozambique’s Cabrito de Tete and Identify the challenges and issues concerning maintaining the status quo of GI protection forCabrito de Tete. While appraising the issues, the study is primarily focused on telling the story of the first registered African Regional Intellectual Property Organisation – Cabrito de Tete.
