Educational visit
As part of our educational trip we visited the University of Valencia to meet with Professor Rosa Baños and her research team. The visit provided an opportunity to learn more about their innovative work in the field of clinical and health psychology, with a particular focus on the use of technology-based interventions to promote mental health and well being. During the two days, the team presented an overview of several current projects, ranging from virtual reality–based therapeutic approaches to online interventions for emotional disorders. We were able to discuss their research methods, explore potential applications in practice, and reflect on the opportunities and challenges of integrating emerging technologies into mental health care. The visit was both engaging and inspiring, offering valuable insights and ideas for our own work.
