I have been a visiting lecturer for the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland/Irish Hospice Foundation MSc Loss & Bereavement since 2010. This role has involved moderating and examining dissertations where there were disagreements, delivering lectures and seminars on the Policy and Management in Bereavement Care module in relation to specialist topics (e.g. undertaking audits / service evaluations/ research within bereavement programs, identifying key aspects for developing bereavement standards, and managing the challenges of undertaking bereavement needs assessments within bereavement services and palliative care settings. I also participated in the review of the module content in 2016-17.
