Description

Running since 2017, this film season brings international films about walled cities and divided communities to Belfast. Each film is followed by a discussion with two experts and cinemagoers, and a less formal gathering in the QFT foyer with refreshments. An student project exhibition accompanies the film exhibitions. For these projects, QUB Architecture students have teamed up with Belfast Met Screen Acting and Production students. Walled Cities is organised by CACity (Cinema and Architecture in the City) Collaborative Research Group and QUB in partnership with Film Hub NI (funder) and Queen’s Film Theatre.
