Description
Walled Cities IV: Divided Communities film season brings QFT audiences and QUB academics/experts together via the screening of three city films in which political conflict is in the foreground and visualised through urban walls in diverse parts of the world. An introduction and discussion accompanies each screening. This is a CACity collaborative research group (Cinema and Architecture in the City) event series funded by BFI’s Film Hub NI. Three films are screened and discussed on three different nights: Geraffada, Smuggling HENDRIX, and Berlin a la Rabbit. This year, an audio-visual exhibition accompanies the screenings and some of the films are exhibited in the Foyle Intercultural Film Festival in the Nerve Centre in Derry/Londonderry.
