I supported the School of Nursing and Midwifery’s efforts to make research findings and resources accessible on the NICORE website. This included handling occasional updates and troubleshooting issues with document availability, link integrity, and data refreshes.
Key contributions involved:
1. Document Uploads and Naming: Ensuring timely publication of critical research documents such as the Neonatal Network Northern Ireland Regional Discharge Questionnaire, Parental Perceptions of Neonatal Care Questionnaire, and the NICORE Annual Reports. This included organising and renaming files for clarity and ease of download.
2. Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Coordinated with the NICORE team to resolve issues related to broken links, duplicate content, and accessibility problems. Ensured all uploaded files were accessible and conformed to new web formats after platform updates.
3. Media and Formatting Support: Uploaded and integrated multimedia content, including instructional videos (Vine) and photography from partners like TinyLife, to enhance NICORE’s visual impact on the site. I also provided support with document formatting to meet professional standards, often collaborating with the NICORE team to finalise layouts.
4. Quality Control and Consistency: Conducted quality checks for typos, file accuracy, and consistent branding across NICORE’s online materials.
