“WHO CARES? Great Global Challenges Event”. Two-day virtual event for US & Canadian High School students in their Junior Year.

Description

Student advisor and co-organiser of the workshop entitled: "Great Global Challenges: Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security".
I was responsible for creating a series of group activities, which sought to allow students the opportunity to work in a group to problem solve how the agricultural sector can ensure net zero emissions by 2050.
Students were tasked with taking on the role of the consumer or the farmer and to identify how each group can adapt and/or mitigate against climate change.
I was also tasked with monitoring group work activity and dealing with any questions or concerns students had.
