Description
All the students involved in the work experience are in Lower Sixth year and have expressed an interest in chemistry or chemical engineering as a degree and we need then to provide them with a programme of activities that will build their enthusiasm for these subjects even further. A key part of the programme is to attach them to research groups in each of the main disciplines for an afternoon to show them the sorts of science and engineering that research students are doing on a daily basis and explain how this research is important to science and society in general.
