Description
In this talk, I shared insights and key takeaways from running a highly successful, intensive tech work experience programme over the last three years. Designed for sixth form students, the initiative welcomes 50 students annually for a packed five-day schedule. The programme bridges the gap between education and industry by immersing participants in a diverse range of activities, from esports and programming to robotics. A core focus is placed on embedding the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into the hackathon, alongside developing crucial presentation and communication skills to prepare the next generation for the future of the tech sector.
