Description
As part of the Europlanet NA1 programme and the international campaign of observations supporting the Rosetta mission, there will be a two day workshop hosted at Schloss Seggau, near Graz, in Austria. The meeting will take place between the 20th and 22nd of June 2016 and will take place entirely within the castle/hotel at Seggau, which has accommodation, modern meeting rooms, and a well stocked wine cellar. The purpose of the meeting is to bring together observers who have been studying comet 67P during the Rosetta mission to exchange results and discuss the link between ground-based observations and results from Rosetta’s instruments. Professional and amateur observers, along with invited representatives of Rosetta instrument teams, are all encouraged to take part. The residential workshop, and relatively small size of the meeting (places for approx. 30 people), are intended to foster discussion between groups. The meeting format will have relatively few talks and open discussion sessions.Period | 20 Jun 2016 → 22 Jun 2016 |
