Member of Steering Group providing advisory support to the development of this social heritage project exploring the heritage of tea in Northern Ireland and connections with China and India. You, Me & Tea will be working with seven community groups in Belfast, Coleraine, Derry/Londonderry and Glengormley. The most important part of the programme is bringing the Chinese, Indian and indigenous communities together as participants, artists and volunteers to discuss the origins and history of tea; the connections with China and India; tea's original journey to the Northern Ireland; and the stories of past and present tea merchants and suppliers.
