30th Oct 2013 - "Earth-sized lava world discovered" - global media coverage (BBC News, Sky News, The Telegraph, Vietnam news...)

Press/Media: Research

Description

Multiple media coverage on the back of a Nature paper reporting the discovery of the exoplanet Kepler-78b. At the time, Kepler-78b was the exoplanet with the radius, mass, and hence density most closely resembling the Earth - except it was in a ~8 hour orbit. Hence it was coined, "lava-world'. This was online as well as in papers. I have only provided a link to the BBC News article as there are too many to list.
