Appointments to the Statistics Advisory Committee

The Minister of Finance, Dr Caoimhe Archibald, has appointed new members to the Department of Finance’s Statistics Advisory Committee (SAC).

The members are: Aidan Campbell, Professor Claire Hutchinson, Dr Saite Lu, Bernadette Lunney, Claire McAleenan, Dr Lisa McFetridge, Joanna Singleton and Katie Willoughby.

The Statistics Advisory Committee (SAC) is an advisory body of the Department of Finance, established under the Statistics of Trade and Employment (NI) Order 1988. SAC’s function is to advise NISRA and Executive Departments on matters relating to the collection and disclosure of statistical information from businesses under the Statistics of Trade and Employment (NI) Order 1988; and to advise on statistical issues such as quality assurance, official statistics, and other similar matters referred to it by Departments.
