Ar Son na Poblachta Documentary series looking back on the events of the Easter Rising of 1916, exploring those revolutionary days and the people who made history as well as those who may have been neglected or forgotten. The first edition explores the role in the armed insurrection of Arthur Shields, who was a character actor in Hollywood movies and many classic American TV shows and is remembered for his theatre career with the Abbey and as the younger brother of Oscar-winning actor Barry Fitzgerald.
