Two New Areas of Post Graduate Study at Queen's University Belfast

Two new areas of study have been added to the existing PG Certificate/Diploma/Masters Applied Social Studies Programme at Queen’s University Belfast.  This Programme is approved by the NISCC and is part of the Post Qualifying framework. 

  • The Court Work Skills module can be taken on its own or as part of the Combined pathway of the Applied Social Studies programme. It is an Interdisciplinary Approach aimed at enhancing the skills and knowledge of social workers who have to provide evidence at court and
  • Dual Diagnosis Certificate relevant to social workers working with service users that are experiencing mental health problems and substance misuse problems.
