On Thursday, July 3, students got a good preview of what it takes to thrive in the world of social entrepreneurship. This began with Professor Matthias Beck giving a lesson on the quantitative side of business decisions, rookie mistakes in shaping businesses, and how to put together a successful business plan. These skills were put to use as students worked toward finalizing their group projects. They enjoyed getting to use their creative sides for the posters accompanying their oral presentations.
