Description

After the appearance of two articles in the Sunday Telegraph on his discoveries of purported Dickens forgeries, Leon Litvack (AEL), Principal Editor of the Charles Dickens Letters Project, has identified the ’South Coast Forger” as the author of both documents. The fraudster, who was active in the early twentieth century, is known to have produced forgeries of the poet Alfred, Lord Tennyson as well as the preacher who founded Methodism, John Wesley.
