Interview, ABC Australia, Rear Vision, 'The Irish border is Brexit's big headache—why is it there and what's it actually like?'

Press/Media: Expert Comment

Description

The border that divides the Republic of Ireland (an EU member) and Northern Ireland (part of the UK) has become one of the biggest stumbling blocks in the British attempt to leave the European Union.

After Brexit, it would become the only land border between the UK and the EU and in theory could be the place where customs and immigration would take place.

Rear Vision takes a closer look at the border itself to explain why no-one wants this to happen.
