    DescriptionPleased to have had a guided tour of Sydney Opera House earlier today. Arup and their engineer Peter Rice, who studied at Queen's University Belfast were mentioned. I now more fully appreciate how the podium is integral to the success of this UNESCO world heritage site - the broad external steps, the gathering places tucked underneath and the generous covered arrival space leading up to the auditorium foyer areas - so impressive.
