The Lyric Feature: Bax, Ireland and 1916

Description

I wrote and presented a one-hour radio programme on RTE's flagship classical music channel on Bax and his relationship with Ireland and the Easter Rising. The programme, whose fieldwork was funded by RTE Lyric fm, went out immediately prior to the Irish premiere of Bax's "In Memoriam", a work written in memory of Padraig Pearse shortly after his execution in 1916.
