Dataset for "Gold nanoparticle cellular uptake and its implications for cancer therapy"

The associated dataset contains videos which supplement the associated thesis.

The first three files concern the results of the fluorescence lifetime imaging microscopy (FLIM) study of live cell samples treated with gold nanoparticle (AuNP) formulations, detailed in Chapters 2 and 3. The analysis procedure for this study produces image files in a time series showing the distribution of the AuNP signal (red-gold colour bar) about the cells (membranes highlighted by blue colour bar), as presented in the thesis. Shown here is the same data in video format to aid ease of viewing of how the data changes over time.

The last file contains a video displaying the result of the dual-angle X-ray fluorescence (XRF) microscopy study, presented in Chapters 4 and 5. The video shows the three dimensional reconstruction of the imaged cell and AuNPs, along with the dual-XRF images taken in order to show how the reconstruction is carried out.
