Magnetic field generation during intense laser channelling in underdense plasma

Description

The dataset consists of proton radiographs, used to diagnose the propagation of an intense laser pulses through a dense ionized gas, under conditions of some relevance to the fast Ignitor scheme for Inertial Confinement Fusions. Output from particle tracing and Particle-in-Cell simulations employed to interpret the experimental data complete the dataset, which underpins the results presented in an article soon to be published in Physics of Plasmas, DOI: 10.1063/1.4953547
