Description of impact
Through my teaching and module coordinating roles I aspire to motivate and engage students in all the subjects I deliver. My teaching philosophy is to enable and empower students at all stages of the University experience, to become confident and fulfilled independent learners. The impact of my teaching is wide-reaching given the large number of students I teach every year. I believe that I have a sustained record of achieving this impact through my continued highs scores reported in TEQs. This impacts positively on the School, demonstrated by our increasing number of applicants to pre-reg and post-reg programmes, evidenced by our NSS scores (where applicable),and endorsed by our recent Nursing Times 2020 for Nurse Education Provider of the Year (pre-reg nursing). The wider institution also benefits from our excellent reputation as a provider of a great learning experience among our other Russell Group HEIs.Who is affected
