The Institute of Criminology and Criminal Justice is a cross-school research centre consisting of academics from the School of Law and School of Social Sciences, Education and Social Work who take an interdisciplinary approach to the study of criminology and criminal justice. It was originally established in the School of Law in 1995 to develop and promote criminological and criminal justice research aimed at informing policy and practice in Northern Ireland and beyond. The Institute of Criminology and Criminal Justice provides a supportive, collaborative, interdisciplinary environment within which to study and research criminology and criminal justice.
