Dr Ahmad Elkhateb is a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in Power Electronics at Queen's University Belfast. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), a Senior Member of the IEEE (SMIEEE), a Full College Member of the EPSRC, and an Associate Editor for IEEE Access and IET Power Electronics.

Dr Elkhateb's research focuses on the design and implementation of advanced power supplies and power electronics systems for electric vehicles, wireless power charging and energy technology. He is responsible for developing the power electronics research theme and promoting it for undergraduate teaching and postgraduate research within the Energy Power and Intelligent Control EPIC Research Centre.
