Dr Maguire is open to PhD applications from candidates with an interest in understanding mental ill-health and/or suicide risk using large scale and population wide data sets.
Previous research experience is preferred along with good basic statistical skills.

Her fields of interest include:
- depression
- anxiety
- suicide
- psychotropic medication use
- large scale data linkage

Aideen is a Psychiatric Epidemiologist whose research includes using population wide health & administrative data to better understand mental ill-health and suicide. Aideen works closely with a range of government Departments & charitable organisations.
