Teaching

Main teaching experience:

Clinical skills, in particular simulation; Interprofessional education; Assessment lead for year 3 Medicine; Curriculum design and implementation, in particular years 3-5 Medicine; Course development for undergraduate and postgraduate students and staff (e.g. Debriefing course); Supervisor to postgraduate Master's in Clinical Education students; OSCE and Multiple Mini Interviews examiner.

Research Focus

Main research interests and focus include university and clinical components. Clinical: Gastro-oesophageal cancer and Barrett's oesophagus, inflammatory bowel disease, neuroendocrine tumours.

University: Simulation based research and clinical skills. Quantitative and qualitative research methodology
