Research Focus

I am the Research Assistant for the Compassionate Mindful Resilience programme for people with kidney disease (COSMIC) study. The aim of this work is to support a new service development project with Kidney Care UK by implementing the Compassionate Mindful Resilience (CMR) programme developed by MindfulnessUK and explore its effectiveness for patients who have kidney disease.


I am also the Administrator for the Renal Arts Group, a collaborative research group based within Queen’s University working with academics, clinicians, patients and their carers, and artists to develeop a programme of research with the ultimate aim of improving the physical and psychological quality of life of those living with kidney disease.
