My research interests are in molecular genetics of common complex disorders. My aims are to understand the genetic and environmental factors that contribute to risk of disease so that those at highest risk can be identified in time for treatment or lifestyle changes to prevent disease.
I am also developing an interest in how microRNAs regulate genes, and to assess their potential as biomarkers of disease.
